Coriolis Force

Share

Q: What is the Coriolis effect and how does it play a role in modern man's life?

A: When something takes flight, it must account for the Earth's movement underneath it. For weather, the Earth's rotation causes wind, instead of blowing in a straight line, to veer right in the northern hemisphere and left in the southern.
