Where Are You?

Hi,

My husband and I watch Channel 7 every morning while we get ready for work.  We really enjoy watching you and your interaction with Kristen Sze and Eric Tomas.  We haven't seen you this week and no one said anything about you being gone.  I am afraid you have moved to another channel or city.   Are you still with 7?

We had a death in the family.  I was out of town for a few days. 

I'm back now and will see you first thing in the morning tomorrow.

This past weekend, the Marine (I'm a sailor) forecast predicted NW winds around 10-15 Knots South of the Bay Bridge for both Saturday and Sunday. I assumed these would have been clearing winds. Instead, we got afternoon winds directly from the West, more like the thermals in the Summer. What would have driven these winds, and why was the NWS off on the direction both days?
