Hottest Day in San Jose

Hello Mike,

MSN weather site listed Nov 20/1996 was a hottest day in San Jose, Ca at 126 degrees?!  Was that possible or just a mistake?  I can not find anywhere mention that!  

What is the record low and high ever here in San Jose?

Hi David,

Nice hearing from you.  I appreciate the question.  

The Western Regional Climate Center says San Jose's warmest high on November 20th is 74 degrees from 2002.  Their highest official temperature is 109° on July 14 of 2000.

At the other extreme, the thermometer read 18° on the 6th of January in 1894 for the coldest official temperature in San Jose.
